Story
Hi there!
I'm making a difference and fundraising for a cause that's close to my heart.....Suicide Prevention Australia..
On September 13th 2014 I will be swimming 10km non stop in a 25m pool...This equals to 400 laps!! This will be done in my little country town of Dayboro, Qld.
I lost my brother James to suicide in 2002....He was my big brother, my best friend.....my mate.... He was always looking out for me.. The bond that we had was pretty special.
I am doing this swim to raise much needed funds and awareness for Suicide Prevention Australia. I know first hand what the families left behind go through. The pain is beyond words.
Suicide is very rarely discussed....On avarage six lives are lost due to suicide a day!! ....This needs to change!
