Story
Hi there!
My name is Abbey, and I love the ocean ... that's why I can't stop swimming!
I'm diving into the deep end and fundraising for a cause that's close to my heart. The ocean plays such a critical role not only in our day-to-day lives, but also for our future in helping us combat climate change. Plus, it's home to some of the most incredible creatures on Earth, who deserve our love and protection.
My next challenge is the South Head Roughwater 10km Swim from Bondi Beach to Watsons Bay (May 2026).
I’d appreciate any contribution, big or small, in support of the Australian Marine Conservation Society. They have been the voice for Australia's oceans for 60 years; everything from protecting the Great Barrier Reef and Ningaloo, to advocating for sustainable fishing through restrictions on trawling, and into new frontiers which threaten the ocean like deep-sea mining.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice: the AMCS.

We are an independent charity, staffed by a committed group of scientists, educators and passionate advocates who have defended Australia’s oceans for over 55 years. Our paid and volunteer staff work every day to protect our coasts and oceans. AMCS works on the big issues that risk our ocean wildlife.
