Story
Hi everyone!
This month I'm swimming 40km to raise money for people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.
I have chosen 300 Blankets as my charity to donate to as I have done a little volunteering with them (hope to do more! ) and can vouch for the amazing work they do.
300 Blankets runs an outreach program where volunteers provide people with essentials such as socks, underwear, blankets and toiletries. It also runs the 'Soul Kitchen' which provides weekly community meals to those who need it.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to 300 Blankets

300 Blankets
300 Blankets is a Victorian charity providing the caring warmth of friendship and protective warmth of blankets to people experiencing homelessness.
There are over 105,000 people experiencing homelessness at any one time in Australia. This winter, 22,000 people will be experience homelessness in Victoria with 1,100 people sleeping rough on any particular night.
We work together with wide a range of support groups and charities to make a significant difference in the lives of the people at risk or experiencing homelessness. Our team of 100% volunteers operate a twice weekly outreach program in the Melbourne CBD and a weekly Soul Kitchen community program in the western suburb and northern suburb of Melbourne.
We are constantly exploring new ways to reach the greater Victorian community. Through working with schools and universities, we have developed educational programs to teach and inspire the wider community to contribute and make a difference. We are focused on making impact by loving our neighbours as ourselves. We understand there is no us and them, we are one community. Your donations will help keep our community warm.
