Ryde AUSSI Masters Swimathon

Story

Date: Wednesday 16 May 2018

Venue: Ryde Aquatic and Leisure Centre

Time: 6.30pm – 8.30pm

The Annual Ryde AUSSI Masters Swimathon is back again in 2018!

The event will once again be a relay race where swimmers will be put into teams of at least four people. Each team will swim 50m continuously in a relay format for 1.5 hours. Participation is open to ALL, so please contact us if you would like to join.

This year we are raising funds for Muscular Dystrophy NSW, a cause that is quite close to some of our members as they have family who have suffered this disease. Muscular dystrophy refers a group of disorders that involve a progressive loss of muscle mass and consequent loss of strength.

This event is a joint fundraising event with funds being donated 50/50 between Muscular Dystrophy NSW and the Ryde AUSSI Masters Swimming.

If you would like to find out more about this event, please contact our club President, Andrew McCrindell on 0431290302.
